Nonsmoked fresh Mangalitsa pork belly, sliced approximately half an inch thick and packed in a one-pound package. No added ingredients. The label may say Belly or Side; both refer to this product.
From your kitchen
Braise gently until tender, then brown the surface to finish. Whole pork needs at least 145°F and a three-minute rest; a tender braise usually cooks beyond that minimum. Use a food thermometer and follow the package instructions.
